The short version

This website sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics and tracks nobody. It has no forms, and it loads nothing from other companies' servers. We only learn about you if you email us, and then we use it only to reply and, if your club goes ahead, to set it up.

Who is responsible

READY/SET is run by Eoin Kane, in Ireland. Eoin is responsible for this website and for the emails you send us (the "controller", in data-protection terms). For anything about privacy, email [email protected].

What this website collects

Nothing, through the pages themselves. There are no cookies of our own, no local storage, no analytics, no advertising, no social media buttons, no embedded videos or maps, and no fonts or scripts from other companies. The only script on the site opens and closes the menu on phones.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages). To deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks, Cloudflare's servers handle the technical information every browser sends, such as your IP address. We don't use it to identify or track you, and we don't receive a list of who visited. Cloudflare's dashboard shows us only totals, such as the number of visits and the countries they came from, which can't identify you. If Cloudflare's security check ever challenges your browser, Cloudflare may set one strictly necessary security cookie; we don't use it. You can read Cloudflare's privacy policy.

If you email us

  • What we use: your email address, your name if you give it, and what you write.
  • What for: only to reply to you and, if your club decides to use READY/SET, to set it up. We never add you to a mailing list or pass your details to anyone else, apart from our email provider.
  • Why we're allowed to: our legitimate interest in answering messages sent to us, or, if you ask about buying, the steps you've asked us to take before a contract.
  • How long we keep it: if nothing comes of the conversation, we delete it within 12 months.
  • Who else handles it: our email provider, which forwards and stores the messages for us.

Please don't email us players' health information. If you need help with something in the app, describe it without names.

The READY/SET app and READY/SET Sheets

This notice is only about the website. The READY/SET app has its own privacy notices, which clubs give to their players and parents. In the app, the club is responsible for its players' data and READY/SET handles it on the club's behalf. With READY/SET Sheets, the data stays in the club's own Google account and we never see it.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email [email protected] and we'll reply within one month.

If you're not happy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland, or to the Information Commissioner's Office if you're in the UK.

Changes

If we change how the website handles data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
